First, the hardness is different.


1. The drawing of commonly used writing pencils is 2B-B-HB-F-H-2H from soft to hard, and from dark to light.


2. The span of drawing pencils is relatively large, ranging from 9B to 9H, and even 10, while general writing pencils have only 2B to 2H. In fact, the difference between the overlapping parts in the middle is not very large.


The hardness mark of the pencil lead is generally "H" for hard pencils, "B" for soft pencils, "HB" for moderately soft and hard pencils, and "F" for pencils with hardness between HB and H.
